It came to me as an effing surprise.
Something I’d shun for the rest of my life.
It was all dark –
And then I figured, something is wrong.
Again.
I am to be away for a while again –
Shore, not really known.
As a familiar fear cloaks my very self,
I’d put up a brave and silly smile on my face.
Again.
But I know better now,
Adversity will not get the best of me –
Not this time. I will not allow it.
